New 1080P HD Widescreen mode

The latest firmware update gives you the option of running in Full 1080P HD Widescreen mode on your RC55, RC60, PC85 and PC90 cameras. The new widescreen mode is ideal for viewing pictures on newer widescreen TV's and computer monitors. RC55 and RC60 cameras will default to widescreen mode after you have updated the firmware. The Professional series cameras (PC85 and PC90) will continue to default to the full 3.1MP 4x3 formatted images with the 1080P HD Widescreen as an optional setting.
New Night Mode settings for your RapidFire Camera

Other recent firmware enhancements include new NightMode settings that allow you to control the night time image quality, range, and shutter speed. The new NightMode menu allows you to choose from four options. Default: This setting gives you a good balance between image quality, shutter speed and IR range.High Quality: This setting will improve night time image quality but will reduce your IR range.Fast Shutter: This will reduce motion blur for fast moving animals, but will reduce your IR range.Max Range: This option will give you maximum IR range but will increase grainy apperance of your images.

Three QuickSet options are also available in this new firmware that allow you to easily change your camera settings for optimal performance in a variety of scenarios. Trail: The default (Trail) settings (3 pictures per trigger with a one second pause between pictures and no delay between triggers) are ideal for a trail. With these settings you will normally get 3-6 images of every animal moving along a trail.Scrape: Choosing Scrape under the QuickSet menu will program your camera to take 5 pictures per trigger in RapidFire mode with no delay between triggers. This will ensure you get to see all the action at the scrape.Feeder: Choosing Feeder under the QuickSet menu will program your camera to take 3 pictures per trigger with a 5 second pause between pictures and then take a 15 second break before triggering again. This will ensure you get a good number of pictures on your feeder without filling your card too quickly.
